He shone the light of the Scrypto shard in its face and Cerberus howled in pain, its form flickering uncontrollably breaking up into binary code as it evaporated into the air and disappeared. He had won this crucial battle.

As the last remnants of Cerberus dissolved into the ether, he allowed himself a moment of relief. The chamber, once filled with the beast's menacing presence, now stood silent and still. The Scrypto shard, still glowing faintly in his hand, seemed to pulse in rhythm with his racing heart.

Suddenly the digital world started crumble around him, Austin grabbed the Radix shard from around the neck of the wolf and with a final, blinding flash, he was free at last, his consciousness returning to the real world.

He awoke to find himself in his room, with his phone full of text messages from his friends. Every message was filled with concern and curiosity: "Are you okay? We got your message in the Radix Wallet!"

Austin and his friends vowed never to underestimate the power of Scrypto and the Radix technology. Together, they had overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. Victory never tasted so sweet!

aBOUT

The Shard Token is an ERC-404 like standard on Radix DLT built with Scrypto. It has a combined total supply of one thousand tokens including non-fungible and fungible tokens.

You can convert between fungible and NFT states using methods for shattering and bonding shards. The token component maintains a constant percentage of each rarity of NFT based upon the circulating supply of the Shard NFTs.

A benefit of the Shard Token linking fungible resources to NFTs is that it allows DEX liquidity such as on Ociswap. You can buy your shard tokens here and try your luck at getting a rare shard!

Good liquidity on a DEX greatly increases overall liquidity for the collection and helps to set and maintain a floor price for better trading. Fractional ownership of the collection is possible by owning fractions of a fungible token.

In order to help Austin escape from the digital prison you need to head over to the Lab and shatter your shards, then bond them to find the rarest.

The mini game uses a shard ticket to randomly choose a shard and assign it to the wallet. It requires a whole fungible token in order to bond one shard. If a user decides to convert 1.5 fungibles, they will receive 1 NFT and 0.5 fungible tokens back.

Shatter converts NFTs back into fungible tokens. This will always result in a whole number of fungibles returned to the user. There is a royalty fee of 1 $XRD at each conversion.
